Biography
Dr. Rupasov has expertise in inorganic chemistry, different energy storage systems and electrochemistry. He graduated from the Department of Materials Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2006. His Diploma thesis focused on investigation of Nb-based misfit layered sulfides. Since 2006, Dmitry was working at the National Innovative Company “New Energy Projects”, at Imperial College London and at the University of Houston in different areas of development of solid oxide fuel cells. In 2011, Dmitry started his postgraduate studies at the University of Houston. He published the results of his research in peer-reviewed journals and made them the core of his PhD thesis “Oxygen diffusion studies in Mixed Ionic and Electronic Conductors (MIECs)” that he defended in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, Dmitry held the position of Analyst at the Russian Quantum Center, performing market analysis and selection of scientific groups in Russia that had inventions with the potential for commercialization.
