Biography
Svetlana was born in Khabarovsk. Svetlana started her scientific career as a BSc student at the Chair of Low Temperature Physics of P.L. Kapitza Institute for Physical Problems in Moscow in 2005. In 2007-2008 she took part in a collaboration program between MIPT and Research Center in Jülich in Germany as exchange MSc student. In 2008 Svetlana moved to Germany as PhD student to continue her research in solid state physics and material sciences, focusing on process technologies, epitaxial growth and surface properties of semiconductors. Besides Svetlana also taught math and physics courses at the RWTH Aachen University. In 2012-2013 Svetlana worked as postdoc in the same laboratory at Research Centre in Jülich. Svetlana also likes music, travelling, reading books, photography and foreign languages.
