Biography

" Yakov Itskov was appointed director of alumina business in September 2014. Since December 2012, he was the director of business support for RUSAL. Since February 2010, he headed the international alumina division of RUSAL. The International Alumina Division has united the western companies of the bauxite and alumina production company: BGK Friguia (Guinea), Bauxite Company of Kindia (Guinea), Guyana bauxite company, Aughinish Alumina (Ireland), Alpart (Jamaica), Eurallumina (Italy), Windalco (Jamaica ), Queensland Alumina (Australia). The task of the division is the extraction of bauxite and the production of high-quality alumina for the supply of RUSAL's aluminum plants and sales in the foreign market, which requires the company to take into account the specific requirements of all consumers of its products. From 2009 to 2010, Yakov Itskov served as the first vice-president of OJSC Oil and Gas Company Rusneft. From 2008 to 2009, he was the General Director of LLC BaselDorStroy, and in 2007-2008 - General Director of OOO Design-Construction Company Transstroy. From 2006 to 2007 Yakov Itskov held the post of managing director of the company ""Basic Element"". From 2001 to 2006 he worked as the General Director of ZAO Soyuzmetallresurs, from 2000 to 2001 - Deputy Commercial Director of OJSC Russian Aluminum. Yakov Itskov is a mining engineer, graduated from the Moscow State Mining University, Candidate of Economic Sciences."
