Biography
Dr. Hartmut Klusik was born in Niederwalde, Germany, on July 30, 1956. After completing his chemistry studies and receiving a doctorate from the University of Phillips in Marburg, Germany, he began his professional career at Wolff Walsrode AG, a division of Bayer, in 1984 as manager of the laboratory. Later he headed the activities of Wolff Walsrode in the production areas. In 1990, Dr. Klusik continued his career by joining Bayer AG, where he was appointed a head of the company's crop protection sector in Brazil, and also led several international projects at Bayer's offices in the US and Australia. In 1997, Dr. Klusik directed the production of active ingredients for crop protection products in Dormagen and Elberfeld, and since 2002 has been responsible for the world production of active ingredients for crop protection products in the CropScience division.
