Biography
Dieter received a Bachelor of Biology degree from Concordia College (New York), and a Master of Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Long Island, New York. Prior to joining Bayer HealthCare, Mr. Wynand was President of Global Sales and Product Portfolio Management at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization Inc. (Princeton, New Jersey, USA). Prior to that, he had experience working in managerial positions and successfully solved commercial, operational and strategic tasks in the pharmaceutical business, including Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb. As the head of the pharmaceutical division, Mr. Vainand was responsible for changing the marketing strategy for the products in different therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular diseases, oncology, dermatology, immunology, respiratory diseases and inflammatory processes.
