Biography

Currently, Diane Gregory, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Art Education Programs. She has taught art education at the university level for over 25 years and was an elementary and middle school teacher for several years in the state of Missouri. Her major research area is integrating technology into the art and art education classroom. She also maintains a blog for art educators, 'Online Learning Cafe'. Since coming to Texas Woman's University in Fall 2004, Gregory has written and published numerous articles and has presented extensively at state, regional, national and international conventions. She is currently working on her second book on Art Education and Technology. Gregory was awarded the Outstanding Lifetime Service Award for Art Education Technology, a special interest group of the NAEAA. She is the recent past President of the Education Technology Issues Group sponsored by the National Art Education Association. Gregory is an active member of the Texas Art Education Association, the National Art Education Association and the Texas Faculty Association.
