Biography
1992: Graduated from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. 1994: Finished the New Economic School. PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Speaks fluent English. Awarded the Order of Honour, and commendation of the President of the Russian Federation. 1998–2000: Leading researcher, the Russian-European Centre for Economic Reforms, Moscow. 1998–1999: Study course at Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics, Sweden. 1999–2006: Senior staff scientist, the Central Economic and Mathematical Institute under the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. 2000–2006: Lead researcher, Director of researches in economic policy, the Centre for Economic and Financial Research, Moscow. 2003–2006: Fellow of an academic council, the Carnegie Moscow Center. 2006–2008: Research supervisor, the Center for Strategic Research Foundation, Moscow. 2008–2012: Senior advisor to the President — Chief economist, Director, the Sberbank Centre for Macroeconomic Researches, Moscow. 2012–2013: Chief, the Experts' Directorate, Presidential Administration, Moscow. From September 2013: Bank of Russia First Deputy Governor. Member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors (since 18 October 2013).
