Biography
Catherine Sigler, PhD, joined UBC as a Senior Director of SERRM in 2007. In her current position as Executive Director, she has responsibility for UBC’s SERRM and Value Demonstration teams. She serves as a pharmacoepidemiologist and senior scientist, providing scientific oversight and regulatory advice for observational studies. In addition, she is a team lead for epidemiology studies with a focus on pregnancy registries and works closely with sponsors to develop risk minimization action plans. She joined the healthcare field in 1978 and has worked as an FDA Reviewer, a Medical Writer, Clinical Scientist, Director of Epidemiology, and Outcomes Researcher. Catherine earned a B.S. and DVM from Michigan State University, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD from the University of Michigan. She was a presenter at 51st Annual DIA meeting, sharing the podium with representatives from the FDA and the EMA.
