Biography
I began my career in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nairobi as a graduate assistant and researcher in 2003. I was appointed as a part-time lecturer in November, 2005 where my duties included teaching, research and supervision of undergraduate research projects. In October, 2007 I was appointed as a lecturer and Coordinator of the chemistry department at Kenya Science Campus. I was responsible for the efficient transformation of the department to suit university status. Additional duties included running of the department by supervising both teaching and nonteaching staff.
Research Interest
I possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times. Additionally, I am able to set and achieve challenging goals while demonstrating persistence, commitment and dedication. This has led to my rapid rise and appointment to several important positions in and outside the university.
