Biography

"1960He was born on June 9, 1960 in Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk Region). 1979He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Mining and Metallurgical College. 1979He began working as an electrician at the Uralelectromed plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. 1979-1981Service in the ranks of the Soviet Army. After returning to his native enterprise, he passed all the steps of the career ladder: an electrician, a head of the instrumentation department, a deputy head of the automation laboratory, a head of the equipment department, a commercial director. 1993He graduated from the Urals State Technical University (now UrFU), majoring in ""non-ferrous metals metallurgy"". 1995He became the General Director of OJSC ""Uralelectromed"" and managed the enterprise until 2002. 1999He became general director of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company. 2002He became the general director of LLC ""UMMC-Holding"", the head managing company of UMMC. 2004Elected a member of an interregional public organization - the Academy of Mining Sciences. 2008He became Doctor of Economics, an honorary professor at the Ural State Economic University. Member of the Board and Chairman of the Committee on Metallurgy of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, member of the Board and co-chairman of the Committee on Industrial Safety of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of the Council for Investments in the Sverdlovsk Region, member of the Presidium of the Council of the Sverdlovsk Regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In 2008, he was included in the list of individuals included in the ""first hundred"" reserve management personnel who are under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation. President of the charity fund ""Children of Russia"", president of the basketball club ""UMMC"", Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in Yekaterinburg. Honorary citizen of Verkhnyaya Pyshma (2000), Honorary Citizen of Yekaterinburg (2010). Honorary citizen of the Sverdlovsk Region (2014), Honorary Citizen of the Kemerovo Region (2014). Decree of the President of the Russian Federation for his personal contribution to the development of the mining and metallurgical industry of Russia was awarded the Order of Friendship (1999).
