Biography
The head of the department is the deputy director of the NII KO FGBU "RONTS named after NN Blokhin" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the professor of the department of radiodiagnostics of RMAPO, the laureate of the RF Government Prize in the field of science and technology, doctor of medical sciences, professor Boris DOLGUSHIN. Professor BI Dolgushin is the author of more than 200 scientific works, including monographs "Tumors of the spleen", "Vascular and intraorganic stenting (endoprosthetics)", "Endobiliary intervention oncoradiology", "Antegrade endobiliary interference in oncology", "Radiofrequency thermoablation of tumors liver ", a section in the textbook" Fundamentals of modern oncology ", methodical recommendations, inventions, rationalization proposals, educational and methodical films; prepared 18 candidates and 3 doctors of medical sciences. Since 2004, he is the chairman of the newly created problem commission "Diagnostic and Medical Interventional Radiology" of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Medical Science and Ministry of Health, and since 2006 - chairman of the Society of Interventional Oncoradiology.
