Biography
2004 – Graduated from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, MBA in Public Finance; 1995 – Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University), degree in international economic relations. 30.11.2006 – present Chairman of the National Commission for Transparency in Extractive Industries, Azerbaijan. 15.05.2006 – present Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan. Official responsibilities: Setting out asset management guidelines, managing the fund’s affairs, appointing and dismissing employees, overall management of the Fund’s operation in accordance with the law and internal documents. 2005 – 2006 General Director of the National Bank of Azerbaijan. 1995 – 2005 Various positions at National Bank of Azerbaijan including chief FX markets economist, head of group, head of section, deputy head of department, director, chief advisor to CEO.
