Biography
Dr. Pompei Bolfa received his DVM degree in 2004 from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He worked for 1 year in a mixed practice in Romania. As during his study years, Dr. Bolfa developed an interest for research and teaching, and decided to start a PhD in equine infectious diseases and began teaching at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He developed several research collaborations and spent several months in different research labs and schools in Europe (Lyon, France and Giessen, Germany) before joining RUSVM in March 2014.
