Biography
Dr. Aarden is a co-discoverer of the cytokine Interleukin-6.He has held the Chair of Molecular Immunology at the University of Amsterdam since 1992; and was Head of the Department of Autoimmune Diseases at the Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service and Sanguin.
