Biography
PhD in Human Genetics from the University College London (UK), focusing on the genetic susceptibility to gastric diseases. Ana worked in genetics for over 15 years with extensive lab experience, including at Cancer Research UK in London on colorectal cancer research and at the University of Oxford (UK) on the characterisation of transcription factors binding sites using High-Throughput technologies. More recently, Ana worked at the Oxford Genomics Centre as a project manager acting as an adviser on sequencing and library preparation technologies and managing sequencing projects.
