Biography
Born in 1964, Hakan Uyanık completed his undergraduate degree in Management at Boğaziçi University in 1986. Hakan Uyanık initiated his professional career in 1987 as a Research and Development Specialist at Gelişim Yayınları, joining the Eczacıbaşı Group a year later as Brand Manager at Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing. Between 1991 and 1993, before becoming General Manager of Eczacıbaşı-Beiersdorf, he was Marketing Manager of Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products Marketing. In 2002 and 2003 he also acted as the Corporate Communications Coordinator for the Eczacıbaşı Group and for more than 10 years he was a Member of the Board and General Secretary of the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club. Hakan Uyanık, General Manager of Eczacıbaşı-Beiersdorf Cosmetic Products since 1993, has been appointed Vice President of Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products Division in 2010. Since January 2011 Hakan Uyanık is Executive Vice President of Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products Division.
