Biography
Born in 1968, Ali Aköz graduated from Galatasaray Lycée and Boğaziçi University’s Department of Business Administration. Aköz initiated his career in 1992 as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) – Istanbul. Between 1996 and 2008 he served in several consultancy and executive positions at PwC’s Brussels office, specializing in profitability and performance management. In 2008, Aköz returned to Turkey to provide management consultancy in this area, and in 2011, he joined the Eczacıbaşı Building Products Division as Finance Director, later becoming the Division’s Vice President of Finance. On 1 February 2017, Aköz became Executive Vice President of the Eczacıbaşı Building Products Division. Aköz is married, has two children and speaks English and French.
