Biography
Born in 1967, Ata Selçuk completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Middle East Technical University. Selçuk began his professional career in 1989 as Product Manager at Düzey Marketing. Between 1992 and 1999, he held various posts at Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals in the field of marketing and sales. In 1999, Selçuk joined the Eczacıbaşı Group as Marketing and Sales Manager at Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Marketing. He was General Manager of Eczacıbaşı Health Services between 2004 and 2008, and General Manager of RTS Renal Treatment Services between 2008 and 2009. In2009, Selçuk was appointed Eczacıbaşı Group Innovation Coordinator, a position that was expanded in 2014 to include Sustainability. On 1 October 2017, in addition to these responsibilities, Ata Selçuk was appointed Eczacıbaşı Group Vice President of Human Resources. Ata Selçuk is also a member of the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact-Turkey and Turkish Business Council for Sustainable Development.
