Biography
"Giles Montgomery-Swan is the Director of IT, based in Dubai. Prior to joining The Abraaj Group, Mr. Montgomery-Swan led two IT functions for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), a large sovereign wealth fund operating across many different asset classes. Prior to that, he was the Global Head of IT Delivery for Standard Bank, servicing both the global investment banking business and their Africa Retail banking business. This followed an extensive consultancy career working with many of the UK’s top organizations across multiple sectors including Financial Services, Local Government, Education, Travel and Retail. Mr. Montgomery-Swan holds an MA in Business & Computing from Portsmouth University, UK and has a Graduateship in Leadership & Management from the City & Guilds of London Institute, UK. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a Member of the BCS."
