Biography
"Kavee Phunratanamala is a member of The Abraaj Group’s Investment Team in Thailand. Mr. Phunratanamala has over 15 years of investment, corporate finance and private equity experience. Before joining The Abraaj Group, he was Financial Controller and Director of Treasury and Industrial Engineering at Millennium Microtech (Thailand) Co. Ltd., an investee company of an AIG-managed fund. Sent in by the Fund, he had been there for over 7 years to help on the corporate financial management, turnaround management, business reorganization, and M&A. Prior to that, Mr. Phunratanamala spent 6 years with AIG Investment Corporation in Thailand as a Manager of Direct Investments. In addition, between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Phunratanamala worked at Lippo Asia where he was an investment analyst. Mr. Phunratanamala holds an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester and a Bachelor degree in Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He was awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 1999."
