Biography
"Khaqan Khan joined The Abraaj Group as a Director in the Pakistan office. Previously, Mr. Khan was an Investment Officer in the International Finance Corporation focusing on advisory work. Prior to joining IFC, he worked at KASB Bank in Pakistan as the Head of Investment Banking, where he advised corporates on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity capital market transactions with a focus on the financial services, oil and gas, and industrials sectors. He has also advised the Government of Pakistan on Eurobond issuances and privatizations (strategic sale and capital markets). Mr. Khan has also worked as an Investment Consultant in the Ministry of Investment, Government of Pakistan and as a manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory group based in Chicago. Mr. Khan holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, US and is a CFA charter holder"
