Biography
"Kutlu Karayol is a Director with the CEO office at The Abraaj Group. Mr. Karayol has over 15 years of experience in risk management and investment management. He oversees the market risk management strategies, including the currency risk underlying both existing investments and investments proposed to the Global Investment Committee. He is also involved in the design and implementation of Fund management strategies as well as in portfolio construction and review processes. Prior to joining the Group in 2011, Mr. Karayol was a Front Office Risk Manager at NBAD. Previously, he worked at the Emerging Markets Risk Management Desk at HSBC and US Treasuries Desk at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York, as well as Fixed Income Trading Desk at Ziraat Portfolio Management in Turkey. Mr. Karayol graduated in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. He holds an MBA degree from Baruch College in New York."
