Biography
"Saad Raja is a Director focused on value creation within the Consumer Goods and Services sector. At Abraaj, Mr. Raja has primarily been engaged in driving post-investment value creation in partner companies including FMCG in Sub-Saharan Africa, Payment Processing in MENA and Healthcare in South Asia. He supports the development of value creation tools and processes, as well as central portfolio reviews and analytics. Prior to joining Abraaj, Mr. Raja was an Associate Consultant with L.E.K. Consulting in London where he worked on Commercial and Vendor Due Diligence projects for global private equity firms including The Carlyle Group, Permira, Exponent and 3i on deals within a broad range of industries including Transport, Energy, Manufacturing, Retail and Defence. His work included developing strategy solutions for C-level business issues for FTSE 250 firms and public sector organizations. Mr. Raja received a First Class honors and Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management from Imperial College London."
