Ahlam Al Shedoukhy

Biography

Dr Ahlam Alshedoukhy is Canadian board trained and certified anatomical pathologist acquired FRCPC in 2000 Calgary – Canada, she also has subspecialisation training in the field of Dermato pathology from UCSF – USA in April 2005. Dr Alshedoukhy worked as a consultant pathologist and head of department in many institutions in Riyadh, including KKUH, SFH & NGAH and KFSH&RC before joining Alfaisal University as assistant professor in pathology. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience for under graduate students and 13 years for postgraduate students. She was appointed as chairwoman of the department of pathology and pharmacology, when she joined Alfaisal University COM in September 2011. She played a great role in developing the department, with regards to allocating excellent resources, developing internal policies and procedures, internal structural organization and fiscal budget. Her leadership and vision to develop a strong and productive department which functions under a subculture of respect, trust and valuing human potential, growth, and accomplishment; and manifesting a collective spirit is witnessed by the impressive quality of the academic teaching activity of the team in phase II and the high standard of faculty in the department.
