Biography
Dr Peter Cahusac obtained his BSc (Hons) from St Andrews University, PhD from Bristol University Medical School, and MSc from Oxford University. His research concerns the neuropharmacology of transmission in somatosensory pathways from skin to neocortex, using in vivo and in vitro single cell electrophysiological recording techniques. He has interests in statistical theory, with a current interest in the likelihood approach, and uses R. He contributes to the teaching of pharmacology and biostatistics.
