Biography

Dr. Ameeduzzafar completed B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. from Uttar Pradesh technical university Lucknow in 2006, and 2008 respectively. He earned a Ph. D. (Pharmaceutics) in the year 2015 form Jamia Hamdard New Delhi, India Under supervision of Dr. Asgar Ali ( Dean faculty pharmacy) and Dr. Javed Ali ( Associate professor). He has a total experience of about 4 years in teaching. Dr. Ameeduzzafar has been bestowed with honour i.e. Indian council of medical sciences as senior research fellow from 2011-2015. At Post Graduate level he has worked in the field of Gastro- retentive drug delivery to improve the bioavailability of drug by retarding the drug release from dosage form. As a doctoral candidate he has worked in the field of nanomedicine for the delivery of drugs to Ophthalmic, which is a challenge in the treatment of ocular disorders due to presence of ocular barriers like cornea, conjunctiva, tear film, high tear turnover, which limits the access of drugs to the ocular. His research interests include Improving ocular bioavailability, Nose to Braine drug delivery as well as oral bioavailability of BCS class II and Class IV drugs using polymeric conjugates and lipid based systems like microemulsions, nanoemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers as well as. Currently he is supervising scientific research of the post graduate students. He has also written two book chapters on Novel Drug Delivery Systems in International Publisher. He has published more than 20 research papers, 2 reviews and two chapters in national and international journals of repute. He is life time member of Indian Pharmaceutical Graduate Association (IPGA).
