Biography

"Khaled Shalaby Ahmed is an assistant professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Jouf University, Saudi Arabia (2015- till now) , faculty of pharmacy in Omar Al-Mukhtar university, Libya (2012-2015) faculty of pharmacy, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt (2011- 2012). He was a PhD student in department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Institute of Pharmacy, Friedrich-Schiller Jena University, Germany, (2007-2011). He was an assistant lecturer in the faculty of pharmacy Al-Azhar University (2004-2007). As well as, he was a demonstrator of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University (1998-2004). He is specialist in pharmaceutical technology. His research is focusing on the followings: 1) Cell culture field especially in rat epidermal keratinocytes. 2) Characterization and evaluation of the barrier properties of different skin models as alternative models for human skin, which include evaluation of topical liposomal formulations, skin diffusion studies, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS)and liquid scintillation counting (LSC).3) Field of suppository formulation. He has publications in international journals and posters in different conferences in Egypt and Germany. He attended and shared different courses about different skin models in France, Germany and Egypt. "
