King Faisal Hospital and Research Center/ Department of Genetics Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Research objectives: Pharmacogenetics -Pharmacogenetics studies in Saudi population. Molecular Biology -Role of the scaffold protein striatin in regulating cardiac remodeling. -Association studies of specific genes mutations and cardiovascular diseases in Saudi population. -Identification of genes mutations in Saudi patients with persistent hyperinsulenimic hypoglycemia of infancy (Nesidioblastosis). -Mutational screening of disease related genes (Hemoglobinopathies).
