Biography
Dr Dileep Rohra is working as an Associate Professor and as Head of Pharmacology at the College of Medicine, Alfaisal University. He finished his medical undergraduate education from Sindh Medical College, Karachi in 1990 and M.Phil in Pharmacology from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi in 2006. Thereafter, he received a highly prestigious scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Japan to pursue PhD in Pharmaceutical Molecular Biology from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. He finished his PhD in 2003. Dr Rohra has a vast experience of teaching Pharmacology to undergraduate medical as well as pharmacy students in various institutes like Chandka Medical College, Larkana, Pakistan, Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan, University of Nizwa, Oman and Alfaisal University. He brings with him a lot of research experience in diverse fields and has published extensively in journals of international repute. Currently, he is involved in research projects involving causes of Vitamin D deficiency in our population and Pharmacoepidemiology.
