Biography

Mr. Fouad F Jabri joined Alfaisal University in 2011 and currently serves as a lecturer of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Alfaisal College of Medicine. Mr. Fouad has been awarded the ESME Certificate in Medical Education. His B.Sc. (Honours) in Pharmacy concentrated in Clinical & Hospital Pharmacy and M.P.H. (Honours) were earned at King Saud University (2005) and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (2011), respectively. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine at UK. Mr. Fouad is a licensed pharmacist in Saudi Arabia. His general interest is in the public health, community services and awareness programs. Recent themes in this direction include designing and conducting several public awareness campaigns. Other currently active research areas of interest include antimicrobial agents and bacterial resistance. His Master's Thesis was in the area of antimicrobial usage and MDRO in Intensive Care Units. In addition, he supervises several undergraduate student researches. He teaches courses in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Community Medicine. Mr. Fouad is currently a committee member in the Master of Public Health program that is being established at Alfaisal College of Medicine. He is a member in Alfaisal Bio-Statistical Consulting Group. This is a multidisciplinary group that works in research and spreading the know-how towards doing research. He is also a member of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the International Association for Medical Education in Europe.
