Biography
Dr Alessandra Pipan is a well known Italian Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a special interest and expertise in advanced Hysteroscopy and lower Genital Tract Pathology treatments. She has performed thousands of surgeries during her long career spanning more than 30 years. Dr Alessandra studied in the famous Rome Catholic University and trained in Milan as a colposcopist under the guidance of Professor De Palo at the National Tumor Institute – and as a hysteroscopist in Rome under the guidance of Professor Mazzon in its Accredited European Training Center. She has therefore successfully treated a wide range of patients, both affected by cervical pathology and uterine benign and borderline pathology, focusing not only in the cervical and endometrial cancer early diagnosis and prevention, but also, as a hysteroscopist, in the workup of the infertile patient prior to ART. In addition, working for more than 15 years at a Hospital level, she has also been practicing Obstetrics, developing a strong background in the follow up of normal and high risk pregnancies and in the Labor Ward.
