Biography
Excellent skills acquired in Civil Engineering supported by a B.S. in Civil Engineering\Geotechnical, M.S. and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering. Experienced in design, analysis, teaching and research in the field of soil mechanics and foundations with a strong background in dam design, RCC dams, Thermal analysis for RCC Dams, slope stability analysis, earthquake engineering, seismicity, Liquefaction studies, and pile foundation, geophysical Methods, and Safety of dams. Published several papers in International Journals and conference proceedings. Member of the Royal committee for water management, Head of the National Dams Committee and consultant for the Ministry of Water and Irrigations, Jordan Valley Authority. Editors-in-Chief of the International Jordan Journal of Civil Engineering. Member of the Editorial Board of the Geotechnical Testing Journal (ASTM), USA, and Consultant to the World Bank for the Red Sea Dead Sea Canal. Honorary Doctorate in Science and Technology and the Golden Medal of Al-Farabi University, Kazakh National University, December 2013, and Member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 2015.
