Biography
Abdulaziz Abdulbaqi is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at the International Medical Center, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Before this he worked as Director of outpatients, Director of patient experience, & as Senior Medical Technologist in clinical laboratories in Private and teaching hospitals, in Saudi Arabia & United States. His exposure to different areas in healthcare made him more passionate to pursue excellence in delivering best care for patients and community, believing that we cannot achieve best care without putting hands of care providers together, aligning their work and initiatives with the goals of creating Quality and safety culture in healthcare, and by this creating value for patients.
Research Interest
Abdulaziz Abdulbaqi is having a vast experience in different accrediting bodies, Canadian Accreditation in University hospital in Jeddah, JCI at private setting, a surveyor at the Central Board of Accrediting Healthcare institution ( CBAHI) for the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and international Surveyor of the Australian Council of healthcare Standards (ACHSI). He is certified from the American Society of Clinical Pathology, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Executive Patient Safety.
