Biography
Dr. Al-wagdani is a professor of surface water hydrology and got his PhD in Civil Engineering from Purdue university in 1993. He published several scientific papers in local and international journals and conferences. Prof. Al-Wagdani participated in a number of funded researches as principle and associate researcher. He supervised several Master thesis and member of local and international scientific societies. He served in several administrative positions at the faculty and the university and he is a member of the higher scientific committee for presidency of meteorology and environmental protection.
Research Interest
Studies related to rainfall, runoff, watersheds and dams, mathematical models for floods prediction, applications of GIS and digital elevation models as well as spatial databases in hydrology.
