Biography
He is working as a Professor in KAUST, Saudi Arabia. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
Research Interest
Research interests are in the microbial ecology of complex ecosystems in conventional and extreme aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Daffonchio’s research is spanning from basic aspects of microbial ecology through the application of synthetic ecology approaches to applied aspects for the environmental protection and sustainability of agriculture.
