Biography

 Medical Director at Roche Molecular Systems, responsible for the medical strategy for the Virology assays (HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HCV genotype, CMV). Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical industry at the Brazilian affiliate for Roche Pharmaceuticals working as a Unit head for Clinical Operations responsible for all phase IV clinical studies in the affiliate and leading a group of 7 people (5 managers) for 2 years and additional experience at Medical Affairs as a country medical manager for Virology for over 4 years, accumulating responsibilities as the Regional Medical lead for Pegasys as act as a member for the global medical team for hepatitis B. Lead the medical strategy on biological products and biosimilars medical issues.  Ed has experience in clinical trials design and conduction, from protocol to final study report preparation and submission and data dissemination, publications (mainly in phase III and IV trials). He has good communication skills and is very didactic. He has some experince in transplantation and Antibiotics in the Pharmaceutical industry. Ed is a Medical Doctor with the Clinical Immunology and Pediatrics background who aims for carreer development.
