Biography

"I have chosen my career in university education because the work required a multi-domains, as I usually prefer to work beyond the ordinary in an active, spiritually diverse environment with a multidisciplinary focus and multiple competencies where my knowledge, experiences, critical thinking and problem solving skills, management style, and leadership abilities as well as my technical and procedural skills can expand and nourished. For 10 years years, I worked as a Lecturer, Assistant Professor and for the last 6 years, I have been an Associate Professor in education, dentistry, and dental informatics. In the course of my work in education, I have been appointed to carry out various academic and administrative tasks. In addition, I have been a leader in the field of medical education, working on several projects, including institutional accrediation. Recently, serving as a Consultant to the Steering Committee working with the Leadership of the ""Aspire Achieve Lead"" group for the Curriculum Reformation and Faculty Development Program. I served as an Assistant Director for International Relations at the University as the University arranged and carried out an international collaborations. I have conducted innovative research and developed interdisciplinary international research collaborations with investigators in different countries, including in the USA, the UK, Europe and the Middle East. I have a patent registered with the US Patent Office, I have published numerous articles on dentistry and education in ISI journals, and I have served as a reviewer for both national and international journals. Furthermore, I have presented and lectured on both national and international level. As one of the founders of the Saudi Endodontics Society, I have utilized my experiences to serve multiple aspects of community health and education as I work as part-time consultant in one of the prestigious clinic Riyadh area where I treat the complex endodontic cases. Throughout my journey, I have gained and refied different fields of expertise; however, I always make an effort to continuously seek new avenues of practice and areas of expertise.
