Biography
Prof. Hisham S. Abou-Auda is the professor of Clinical Pharmacy in the college of pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh. He obtained Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota, U.S.A. in 1987. He received further formal training in the field of drug and poison information at the University of Minnesota Drug Information Center and Minnesota Regional Poison Information Services at St. Paul Ramsey medical Center in U.S.A. He has a vast experience in electronic data processing, computer sciences and biostatistics. He is the author of 15 books encompassing pharmacy and pharmacy-related disciplines including pharmacokinetics, application of computers in pharmacy and medicine, drug and poison information, medical biostatistics, pharmacoepidemiology and clinical skills. Prof. Abou-Auda is actively involved in different research and academic activities, where he published his research work in highly reputed international journals.
Research Interest
His main research interests are Pharmacokinetics, Application of Computers in Pharmacy and medicine, Drug and Poison Information, Medical Biostatistics, Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Skills.
