Biography
Dr. Hussain Al-Omar is an assistant professor with an appointment in Clinical Pharmacy Department at King Saud University, where he has been a member of the faculty since 2000. Dr. Al-Omar completed his Ph.D. at King’s College London, London, United Kingdom. Furthermore, he received several research training certificates from The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in the field of pharmacoeconomics, health technology assessment, quantitative research, and qualitative research. His research interests lie in the area of pharmacoecnomics, drug utilization, health technology assessment and healthcare professional behavior using mixed methods approach. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other institutions both locally and internationally.
