Biography
Prof Islam M. Saadeldin specialises in animal production . He is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Animal Production, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.
Research Interest
I am interested in improvement of animal production and reproduction through the advanced biotechnology such as somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) or reproductive cloning, genome editing, transgenesis, semi-cloning, haploidization, and assisted reproductive techniques (ARTs) as well as therapeutic cloning, parthenogenesis and embryonic stem cells. Recently, I am concerned with the roles and potential applications of extracellular vesicles and exosomes in the embryonic and fetal life.
