Dr. V.Duraipandiyan, is Botany and ethnopharmacology graduated from University of Madras, Chennai. He has published many articles in the peer reviewed journal. He worked as scientist at Entomology Research Institute, Loyola College, and University of Madras. At present he is working as Research Professor at Department of Botany and Microbiology, College of Science, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He is very interested in anticancer, antidiabetic and antimycobacterial drug discovery from plants and microbes.
His main research interests include Plant medicine Drug discovery from natural source Medicinal plants and their traditional uses Antimicrobial compounds from plants and microbes Antidiabetic and anticancer compounds from plants and microbes Ethnobotany and ethnopharmacology Phytochemical isolation from plants Actinomycetes isolation and identification and their biological activities
