Biography
Eng. Al Nassar has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, project management, planning and maintenance. He holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. Post-graduation, Eng. Al Nassar worked as Project Engineer in the Eastern Petrochemical Company (Sharq) and then transferred to SAFCO as Project Manager for the SAFCO IV project. He then joined MARAFIQ as the Manager of the Design & Projects Department. From 2006, he joined the GCC Interconnection Authority as Director of Planning, Engineering & Project Management where he led a $1.4 billion project to interconnect 6 Gulf countries electrically. Eng. Al Nassar joined the Ma’aden Phosphate Company in early 2013 as VP Technical, was promoted to President of the Company in mid-2014, and was appointed Ma’aden VP of Project Management & Engineering in 2016
