Biography

Mohammad Akram Randhawa graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, in 1973 and completed his Masters from the University of Punjab in 1977. He did his Post-graduate training in Clinical Pharmacology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, UK. Later he obtained PhD degree from the Quaid-i-Azam University,Islamabad. Currently, he is working as Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology, College of Medicine, Northern Border University. He has around 50 publications in the international scientific journals, which include his original contributions related to the transport of drugs across body membranes, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Nigella sativa (Black seed).
