Biography
As a chartered accountant by profession, Waleed A. Bamarouf has more than 20 years’ experience in accounting. Bamarouf obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran in 1995, became a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1997 and Certified Management Accountant in 2001. In 2005 he joined the Fellowship Authority of Saudi Arabian Accountants and in 2009 he obtained an Executive MBA from King Abdulaziz University. In addition to being a member of Saudi Organization for Certified Accountants, the Saudi Accounting Association, the Saudi Society for internal auditors, the Committee of Chartered Accountants in Jeddah, the American Institute of Management Accountants and the American Institute of Certified accountants, Bamarouf has operated as a collaborative coach for, among others, the Saudi Society for internal auditors and the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants. He also has extensive experience on audit committees and as a member of the board at Najran Cement, Tabuk Agricultural Development and Yanbu National Petrochemical.
