Irfan Anjum Manarvi

Biography

"Dr Irfan Manarvi graduated from Pakistan Air Force Academy Risalpur Pakistan as an Aerospace Engineer in 1986. He worked in PAF for 06 years as a Maintenance Manager for first and second line maintenance of aircraft and ground support equipment. He then worked for 08 years as Production manager at Aircraft manufacturing factory Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra. He got experience as a Technologist for developing manufacturing processes for various aircraft mechanical parts for sheet metal and CNC machining. He has got his Master Of Philosophy in manufacturing processes in 1999 followed by a Phd degree in 2004 in Dimensional Tolerance Allocation from Department of Design Manufacture and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde Glasgow UK. He has taught at Institute of Space Technology, HITEC University, Iqra University Islamabad campus and Center of Advanced Studies in Engineering Pakistan. He has supervised a number of undergraduate and Masters including MBA thesis at these universities. He has regularly published his work in conferences and journals. He is currently an Associate Professor at Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia."
