Biography
Dr. Husam Zaman Associate professor of comparative and international education Dr. Zaman holds MA (2003), and PhD (2006) in Administration and Policy Studies from University of Pittsburgh. Currently (Since June 2013), He is the Director of Saudi Electronic University’s Medina Campus. Before that, he served as the Dean of Quality and Institutional Research (2009-2013) at Taibah University. In addition to that, he served as the Deputy Vice-President for Development and Quality (2012-2013). His responsibilities in these positions include: establishing a quality and institutional research office that runs the monitoring and management of quality system, institutional strategic planning, curriculum development, evaluation and assessment. Also, He served as a Founding Dean of College of Law (2011-2012), a Chair of Foundations of Education Department, College of Education (2007-2009), and Vice-Director of Legal Office (2006-2007). His affiliations include: NCAAA in Saudi Arabia (external reviewer), and International Institute for Studies in Education (IISE) at University of Pittsburgh (Affiliated faculty member), Center for Academic Leadership at the Ministry of Higher Education (Affiliated trainer).
