Biography

Dr. In-Ju Kim is an Assistant Professor and research coordinator of the Department of Physical Therapy at University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Kim received his PhD from the University of Sydney, Australia and had worked several Universities and research institutes in Australia, the UK and the USA. He is also an industry consultants in the areas of slips, trips and falls, occupational safety and injury prevention. Dr. Kim’s teaching and research expertise are in the areas of ergonomics, biomechanics, occupational safety, and sports injury prevention. He is a research unit leader of virtual reality laboratory and developing research projects on the areas of virtual reality based rehabilitation science and human performance technology. He is also a co-leader of sports injury surveillance and prevention research unit and developing research project on national sports injury surveillance and prevention system. His publications and presentation were in the areas of slip, trip and fall incidents, construction industry safety and injury prevention.
