Biography
Dr. Arshad joined Zayed University in August 2012 as an Assistant Professor in Accounting in the College of Business. Prior to that, he was a faculty member at School of Accountancy, Massey University, New Zealand. He had been working for the first six years of his career as a civil engineer. Designing and supervising construction of industrial buildings and facilities. After completing his MBA from IESE in 1987, he worked for more than a decade as a management trainer and consultant. He taught on the Executive MBA program and provided management training services to a number of companies such as ICI (Pakistan) Ltd. He established a number of ISO 9000 certified quality management systems for corporations such as Adamjee Insurance Company. In addition to that he was a member of the team that developed numerous strategic plans for corporations as well as government agencies.
