Biography

He was born in 1951 in Konjevici, Cacak. He graduated from the Gymnasium in Cacak, and in 1977, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. He obtained his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade in 1984 with the work " Construction of a universal engine from the aspect of expanding its application ". He defended his doctoral dissertation "An electrostatic field solution in anisotropic environments with a special emphasis on the application of the method of fictitious sources " in 1987 at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš. He worked in the company "Sloboda" - Cacak, as a constructor of Electrical Machines, and since 1978, He works at the Technical Faculty in Cacak, where he is currently in the position of full professor for Electrical Machine and Electromagnetics. At the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, he was engaged in postgraduate studies in the subject of Selected Topics in the Theory of Magnetic Fields. By 2015, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak, and now he is the Vice-rector of the University of Kragujevac.

Research Interest

Prof. dr Jeroslav M. Živanic deals with the theory and construction of electrical machines and the theory of electromagnetic fields. He is a mentor of many doctoral dissertations and master theses. He has published a number of scientific-professional papers, monographs and textbooks. He participated in the realization of a number of scientific-research projects as a manager or researcher. Currently, he is a researcher in the Energy Efficiency Project .
