Biography
She is currently working as associate professor at Institute of biology and ecology, University of Kragujevac,Serbia.Scientific-research work prof. Dr. Marine Topuzović covers the field of morphology, anatomy, systematics and phytohemistry of higher plants. In her previous work, she studied the morphological and anatomical structure of certain plant species; testing changes on tissues caused by the effects of air and soil pollution; studying the influence of the type of geological substrate on morphological and anatomical adaptations of plants; studying the hydrophilic macrophytic flora of Serbian accumulations, especially from the aspect of temporal and spatial distribution of macrophytes, as well as the bioaccumulation of pollutants in their tissues; phytochemical anaisis of autochthonous and allochthonous neonates, cultivated, healing, invasive, and others. plant species - by studying biological activity and the production of secondary metabolites in response to plants on stressful environmental conditions.
